VOTE for Romanian Transport Company of the Year 2011
Starting from now, the voting for the "Romanian Transport Company of the Year 2011 - Continental" begins. Seven companies are in block starts for this year's edition of the contest, by means of which the representative of Romania in the European contest will be appointed. Your vote can make the difference!
The competitors for this year are, in alphabetical order: Ahead Logistics, Dumagas, edy International Spedition, Groep H. Essers, Klacska Romania, OTZ and TCS. It's interesting that they are companies which activated in several different branches of the transport - from national distribution of general merchandise and transport under controlled temperature, to international transport, ADR and construction transport - and each and every one of the seven finalists deserve to represent Romania in the European competition.
The voting procedure
All the readers of Ziua Cargo are invited to vote for the winner. The voting takes place online, on www.ziuacargo.ro. Also, you can send us your vote by fax (at no. 031/814.63.86, after you fill in the form you can find inserted in the magazine.
Each reader can give 10 points to the company that he considers the most suitable to win the competition, 6 points for the second place, 4 points for the third place, 3 points for the fourth place, 2 points for the fifth place, and one point for the sixth place. For the vote to be valid, you have to respect this procedure, each reader having the right to vote only once. In addition, the voter will have to fill in the contact information, because, within the award gala, we will organize a lottery with surprise prizes for the participants at the voting process.
The vote of the readers weights 50% for the final result and a specialized jury accounts for the rest of 50%.

Show, surprises and... Up-to-date information
We will also organize a lottery for the ones who will attend the award ceremony, which will take place on the 27th October at Aristocrat Events Hall (Bucharest), a special event which will reunite the entertainment with the most up-to-date information from the market. And this because, in addition to the awarding of the title of the "Romanian Transport Company of the Year 2011- Continental" title, we will also present in premiere the results of the barometer of the transport and logistics market, done by Ziua Cargo and Supply Chain Management Center.
We will present, face to face, the answers of the transport providers and the ones of their customers so that we could estimate the trends on the relevant market, the evolution of the prices in parallel with the costs, where the investments go and what can be done to improve the relationship between the transporters and their customers. And because we would like to have an image of the market as clear as possible, we are inviting you all (hauliers and customers) to answer to the questionnaire on our website, www.ziuacargo.ro. We can ensure you of the confidentiality of the information you provide. Also, all the respondents will be subscribed to a lottery with surprise prizes and they will receive the full version of the statistical analysis resulted from this market inquiry.
The participation fee for the Transport Awards Gala, during which we will also present the results of the barometer of the transport and logistics market, is of 200 RON.
